Hangul Watch

The characters of the Korean alphabet called “Hangul“ are made based on the principles of phonetics and metaphysics of Cheon - Ji - in (Heaven - Earth - Human). Through Juyeok, the oriental philosophy that pursues in-depth contemplation on man’s life and foundation, Hangul was interpreted from a new perspective. Consonants and vowels were arranged in a circle and dots were connected with lines along with the flow of time. Like natural time flow, this work intends to engrave the messages depicted from the new images of Hangul assembly and disassembly in the minds of the audience.
